Once the medications are selected for cellulite treatment, they are mixed together in a syringe and injected into the skin and the fat. The needles used in cellulite treatment are extremely small. The number of injections will vary based on severity of cellulite and location. Cellulite Removal for all grades
Cellulite treatment begins with understanding the grades of cellulite. The grade of cellulite usually dictates the number of Mesotherapy sessions required to get rid of cellulite. Grade 0 cellulite requires no cellulite treatment. In a patient with Grade 1 cellulite, an annual preventative cellulite treatment is recommended. The cellulite which we commonly notice is usually a Grade 2. With this grade the cellulite treatment protocol which is recommended varies from 10-15 sessions of Mesotherapy for complete cellulite removal. Although the number of cellulite treatment sounds high for this grade, some patients get rid of their cellulite in 3-5 sessions of Mesotherapy. Grade 2 cellulite can be mild to severe which is why many patients have gotten their results in less than 10 sessions. It is difficult to predict how many sessions Grade 3 cellulite will require, but you can expect more than 20 cellulite treatment sessions with Mesotherapy.
